Bob Bianchi

Bob is a 20-year Federal software executive specializing in Big Data, Analytics, Cloud and open source solutions. He has spent the past two years at Teradata managing solutions team for the DoD, Intelligence Community and National Security teams.  Prior to Teradata, Bob spent  seven years with Oracle as DoD Regional Vice President, with responsibility for Oracle Core Technical Software teams. In 2012, Bob was named the Oracle Public Sector Sales Manager of the Year for his efforts in Oracle’s FY12.  Bob came to Oracle through the acquisition of Sun, where he spent 3 years managing all of the Federal Software Sales teams and was the 2009 Sales Manager of the Year. Bob also spent 5 years at Novell following its acquisition of Silverstream Software, where he was VP of Sales for the East Coast.

Bob served 4 years as an infantryman in the US Army, both in the continental US and overseas. He attended the University of Maryland College Park for his undergraduate degree and the College of Charleston for graduate studies.

Bob resides in downtown Frederick MD with his 3 children, Stryker, Shae and Remington.  He is an avid soccer player when he is not spending time skiing in the winter.
