The Air Force recently released a request for proposals (RFP) for IT support services within the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR). “The contractor shall provide all IT and telecommunications services necessary to meet the AFNCR requirements described herein to support the Air Force customers in the AFNCR,” the RFP states. Among the mission areas in the region are the Air Force operations at the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews, and Head Quarters Air Force. The contract includes IT project management, cybersecurity support, and enterprise IT operations. Interested parties may comment by October 5, and the RFP will remain open until Oct. 20.
