The Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) announced the appointment of 30 experts to serve on the Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee (CSMAC) on April 18. β€œThe committee provides advice on a range of spectrum policy and technical issues and is an important forum for developing recommendations aimed at strengthening U.S. global leadership in wireless technology services,” a press release explained. The new experts, all of whom come from the private sector, academia, industry groups, or think tanks, will serve two-year terms.
