How do Federal cyber practitioners adapt to an increasingly complex attack surface? Where do Federal security leaders turn to reimagine the future cyber landscapes?

Find answers to both of those questions at Adapt 2024: Reimagining Our Federal Cyber Future – a one-day event that brings together IT, cybersecurity, and operations leaders to unpack the complex security challenges that face U.S. government agencies.

Join Axonius Federal Systems and MeriTalk on April 16 in Washington, D.C., to learn how Federal security leaders and practitioners are adapting to today’s demands, defying expectations, and redefining the most critical cybersecurity strategies to protect our country.

The opening keynote – delivered by the Pentagon’s Principal Director for Cybersecurity and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer Gurpreet Bhatia – will explore the core principles of zero trust in the Department of Defense (DoD).

The Pentagon issued a department-wide zero trust strategy in 2022 which gives defense agencies a deadline of fiscal year 2027 to fully implement zero trust. The military service branches are dedicated to reaching that goal on time and have begun to integrate zero trust technology successfully at the tactical edge.

“We are committed to get there by ‘27 because that’s not a department set objective – that’s an adversary response objective, so we can’t really afford to have it slip,” DoD Deputy Principal Chief Information Officer Leslie Beavers said.

The breakout sessions on April 16 will explore hot-button issues in Federal cybersecurity today, from securing critical infrastructure to building resiliency through software asset management – like the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Program.

In the closing keynote panel, Deputy Principal Cyber Advisor for the U.S. Navy – Joshua Reiter – will be joined by Axonius’ Co-Founder and CEO – Dean Sysman – to explore the emerging cyber challenges of tomorrow.

Reiter and Sysman will discuss how our global interconnectedness, increasingly complex supply chain challenges, and exponential advancement of new technologies all fuel a rapidly expanding cyberattack surface – and the solutions we’re building to secure the Federal cyber infrastructure of tomorrow.

Here’s the opportunity on April 16 at Adapt 2024: join government and private sector experts who are driving the change in Federal cybersecurity – from adopting zero trust to leveraging emerging technologies like AI.

In return, you’ll hear the latest on agencies’ cyber futures from an extensive lineup of Federal cyber experts including:

  • Gurpreet Bhatia of the DoD;
  • Richard Grabowski of CISA;
  • Laurie MacNamara of the General Services Administration’s Technology Transformation Services; and
  • Joshua Reiter of the U.S. Navy.

Please join us on April 16 by reserving your seat for Adapt 2024: Reimagining Our Federal Cyber Future.
