Raafat is an Associate Partner in IBM’s Federal Strategy & Transformation Service Line and leads IBM’s Program Integrity offering.
In his role as the Program Integrity lead, Raafat partners with federal customers to implement a real-time fraud detection solution that identifies potential anomalous or improper activity, drives efficiencies, and reduces potential risks in their existing environments. Working with his team, Raafat has led IBM’s Program Integrity offering, collaborating with customers to save millions of dollars in potential fraud, waste and abuse, while avoiding the current ‘pay and chase’ model and limiting improper payments.
As a CPA, with over 15 years of Federal Financial Management experience, Raafat partners with federal clients to leverage innovative technology solutions to drive business results, improve operational efficiency and establish end-to-end compliance in their environments.
